Worksorted Connector
Connect Paradino to your Worksorted CRM so your team can search and link Worksorted clients, and push generated documents into Worksorted as client notes — file attached.
The Worksorted Connector keeps your CRM in sync with the work you do in Paradino. Once a client is linked, every meeting summary or advice document you generate can be pushed to Worksorted in one click.
What you can do
- Search and link clients. Find Worksorted clients by name from inside Paradino, then link them to a Paradino client.
- From the CRM client list, link a new client using the Cable icon.
- From Workspace, link to an existing client.
- Push documents into Worksorted. Send generated documents to Worksorted as a client note with the file attached.
- Meeting summaries set Worksorted's "last contacted" date to the meeting date.
- Advice documents set Worksorted's "last advice" date to the date you push.
- Map note categories per type. Owners can map each Paradino meeting type and document type to a specific Worksorted note category and subcategory, so notes file correctly without extra work.
- Multi-company support. If your Worksorted login has access to more than one company, your Owner chooses which company Paradino pushes to.
- Secure OAuth sign-in. Connect using your Worksorted login — no API key needed.
Before you start
A few things worth knowing before you connect:
- Your Owner needs to set it up first. Worksorted requires an Owner to configure the integration before the rest of the team can connect. Until that's done, non-Owners will see a "Contact your Owner" message.
- Only one CRM at a time. If another CRM is already connected, you'll need to disconnect it before connecting Worksorted.
- Auto-sync isn't supported. Worksorted only supports manual pushes — you'll need to click Sync on each document. Even if you have "Auto-sync documents" enabled for other integrations, it doesn't apply to Worksorted.
Each push creates a new client note in Worksorted. Pushing the same document twice creates two separate notes — Paradino doesn't update or replace an earlier push. If you re-push after editing in Paradino, expect a new note alongside the previous one.
How to connect
First-time setup (Owners)
- Go to Connectors and find the Worksorted card.
- Click Connect. You'll be redirected to Worksorted to authorise Paradino.
- After authorising, you're taken back to Paradino and the Worksorted setup dialog opens automatically.
- Choose a Company (required). If your Worksorted login only has one company, it's selected for you.
- (Optional) Configure note category mappings for meeting summaries and/or advice documents. See Settings below.
- Click Save changes.
Once saved, the rest of your org can connect and start using the integration.
Connecting (everyone else)
- Go to Connectors and find the Worksorted card.
- Click Connect and complete the Worksorted authorisation.
- That's it — there's nothing to configure. The settings the Owner saved apply to the whole org.
If your Owner hasn't set up the integration yet, you'll see a prompt to contact them instead of the connect flow.
Using the connector
Once connected, you'll see Worksorted actions in the places you'd expect:
- Linking a client. From the CRM client list, click the Cable icon to link a new client. For existing clients, link from Workspace.
- Pushing a document. Click Sync on a generated meeting summary or advice document. Each click creates a new client note in Worksorted with the file attached.
Worksorted doesn't support auto-sync, so every push has to be done manually. Make sure you click Sync when you're ready for the document to appear in the CRM.
Settings
Settings are managed by Owners from the Worksorted card on the Connectors page, and they apply to the whole org.
Company
The Worksorted company Paradino pushes notes to. Client searches, lookups, and note creation all happen inside this company.
- Required.
- Switching to a different company resets the mapping selections in the dialog. If you save after switching, the previous company's mappings are replaced.
Note category mappings
Worksorted notes can be filed under a category and (optionally) a subcategory. Paradino lets Owners map Paradino types to specific category and subcategory combinations so each note lands in the right place automatically.
There are two independent mapping groups:
| Group | Applies to | Paradino types you can map |
|---|---|---|
| Meeting summaries | Meeting summaries pushed to Worksorted | Initial Discovery, Fact Find, Review, SOA Presentation, Review Fact Find, Team Meeting, Board Meeting, Strategy Paper, Engagement Letter, Phone Call, Service Agreement, Advice Summary, Fees Invoice, Implementation Checklist, Accounting & Tax |
| Advice documents | Advice documents pushed to Worksorted | All Paradino strategy types: Strategy Paper, Advice Request, Record of Advice, and Statement of Advice |
For each group:
- Pick a category from the dropdown at the top of the section. The list comes from Worksorted's note categories for the selected company.
- For each Paradino type, pick a subcategory (or leave it as "No subcategory").
- Repeat for the other group, or leave it unmapped.
If the category you picked has no subcategories in Worksorted, all notes for that group are filed under the bare category — no per-type rows appear. Subcategories belong to a category, so changing or clearing the category clears all subcategory selections in that group.
Both groups are optional. You can map one, both, or neither — anything you don't map gets pushed without a category, and Worksorted's default filing behaviour applies.
How mappings are applied
When you push a document:
- Meeting summaries use the meeting-summary mappings, matched on the meeting type.
- Advice documents use the advice-document mappings, matched on the document type.
The rules are:
- If a category and a matching subcategory are both set, the note is filed under both.
- If only a category is set (no subcategory for that specific type), the note is filed under the category alone.
- If nothing is mapped for that group, the note is filed without a category and Worksorted's defaults apply.
Managing your connection
Editing settings later
Owners can change Worksorted settings at any time. On the Worksorted card, click the Settings button (visible once connected) to reopen the dialog. Non-Owners don't see this button — they always use whatever the Owner has saved.
Disconnecting
Click Disconnect on the Worksorted card. This signs your user out of Worksorted but keeps the org's settings (company and category mappings) so reconnecting later doesn't require setting them up again.
Troubleshooting
I can't see the Connect button
Worksorted needs to be enabled for your organisation. If the card is missing or greyed out, check with your Paradino Owner.
I see a "Contact your Owner" message
Your Owner hasn't completed the first-time setup yet. Once they connect and save the company (and any category mappings), you'll be able to connect too.
I want to switch CRMs
Only one CRM can be connected at a time. Disconnect the existing CRM first, then come back to the Worksorted card to connect.
My document didn't appear in Worksorted
Worksorted doesn't auto-sync. Open the meeting summary or advice document in Paradino and click Sync to push it across.
My note ended up in the wrong category
Check the note category mappings in Worksorted settings. The category and subcategory the note was filed under come from the mapping for that meeting type or document type.
